I can statements for the week:

Reading–I can ask and answer questions to understand key details of a text.

I can describe the connection between a series of historical events, scientific ideas or concepts, or steps in technical procedures in a text.

I can determine the meaning of unknown words.

Writing– I can write a lab report that includes a hypothesis, procedures, data collection, and a conclusion.

Math– I can estimate lengths using units of inches, feet, centimeters, and meters.

I can solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and ˘ symbols appropriately. Example: If you have 2 dimes and 3 pennies, how many cents do you have?

I can draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems1 using information presented in a bar graph

I can generate measurement data by measuring lengths of several objects to the nearest whole unit, or by making repeated measurements of the same object. Show the measurements by making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is marked off in whole-number units.

Privacy Please!!

Due to privacy laws, we ask that you only take pictures of your own child when you are here at school. Please respect the privacy of those families that wish not to have their children photographed. We realize that capturing those memories are important and we truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding of this policy.
