Teacher Amy Cumbee - Fourth Grade  (Send e-mail)

Welcome to my webpage!!!

The 4th grade Bucket List Challenge has started for QUARTER 4! To recap, Fourth Grade students are taking on the challenge of independently reading 40 books (10 per quarter) this year from ALL DIFFERENT genres/texts. They have a checklist with 60 different genres/texts (historical fiction, poetry, author born in a different country, autobiography, fable, etc.). They will independently read them, have weekly conferences with me to check their status, record the title/author .For each book they read, they need to complete a book summary form that will go towards the end of the year incentive. This challenge is to promote student choice reading by not limiting the type of text. The students are excited!

FRONT ROW MATH & ELA
The students are all set up for Front Row Math. They can log in at home and practice their math facts. When logging in please use their first name and class number as their last name then enter the class code. Unfortunately, I received an email from Front Row on Friday after school and they will no longer be allowing parent access to the student accounts. So disregard the parent access codes that were on the sheet sent home. However, you can explore the website with your child to see what it is all about. If you have any concerns or problems, please contact me. We will be spending time working in Front Row math so the students can become familiar with the website and I can troubleshoot any issues that arise.

4th Grade will be adopting 6 animals...Red Panda, Dolphin, Hammerhead Shark, Narwhal, Koala and the German Shepard

REMIND 101
