Kayla Wetzel - Speech-Language Pathologist 3-5  (Send e-mail)

Welcome to my web page!

I look forward to working together to help your child achieve their speech and language goals as well as improve their overall communication skills. One way to assist in improving speech-language skills is through practice at home. By working on your child’s goals outside the therapy room, we will strengthen what is being taught within. I will periodically send home practice worksheets, and I will provide a folder that your child should bring to speech and home to practice targeted skills.

If you would like to meet with me and are unable to do so during conferences, I may also be contacted at kwetzel@fsd157c.org or (815) 469-2309.
I look forward to speaking with you.

Invitation Reminder:
We never want to have a child feel left out or have their feelings hurt by not receiving an invitation to a party. Even as adults, we know the emotional hurt from being excluded. This is why we highly discourage the passing out of invitations at school. The only exception is if you are inviting the whole class and the invitations are distributed by your child’s teacher. Invitations are never to be distributed by a student or parent. Thank you for your cooperation.

In response to this legislation, Frankfort School District 157-C will be presenting, "Child Lures Prevention: Think First and Stay Safe", curriculum for the 2017-2018 school year. Our presentations will occur in November and January.
