Module 2:

Lesson 3: count by fives and ones on the number line as a strategy to tell time to the nearest minute on the clock.

Reading:

Quarter 1 Essential Questions:
- What does a person/character's feelings, actions, and traits tell you about them?
- How do events in a person/character's life impact who they become?
- How is your point of view the same/different from that of the character/narrator/author?
- What traits describe a model citizen of a community?
- How does perspective change the way we look at things?

This week we will briefly revisit point of view and character motivation. We will have a summative on Tuesday, and we will begin our fist novel of the year on Wednesday. As we read our first novel, we will practice questioning, character traits, and character change through small group discussions.
