The End of Module Assessment is on Wednesday, December 19. A list of problems from the workbook was sent home last week; these are a great review for the end of Module assessment.

Multiplication Facts
Our focus continues to be the 2 & 3 facts. Multiplication cards came home in last week's Friday Folder. Please check to make sure your child is labeling the cards correctly and remind him/her to practice as often as you feel is necessary. The timed test for zero through three will be this Friday, the 21st.

Monday: Module 3 Lesson 21: Solve two-step word problems involving multiplying single-digit factors and multiples of 10.
Homework: Lesson 21 homework pages (Use a letter to represent the unknown)

Tuesday: Formative F Check and Review for the End of Mod Assessment
Homework: "Digicross" (Tang math page)

Wednesday: End of Mod 3 Assessment
Homework: "Snake" (Tang math page)

Thursday: Look again and End of Mod Assessment if necessary
Homework: "Numtanga" (Tang math page)

Friday: Timed multiplication test
Homework: Zearn Catch up

The students will bring home their biography book choices for the Third Grade Wax Museum Project. The students will read a biography, write a speech including important facts about their person, dress up like their person and then present it at the “Wax Museum” (speaking in a one to one setting) in January. More information will come home regarding the wax museum this week.

We will continue to work on context clues, main ideas/details, and summaries this week. The Information Outcome Assessment will be on Thursday, the 20th

We had such a busy week that we didn't get to finish up our informational chapter books. That is our goal this week. We will also be learning a bit about holidays that are celebrated in different countries.

We will wrap up our unit on forces and motion.

2nd Step will be on Thursday this week.

Wednesday: End of Mod Assessment, Bowling Assessment in PE, learn about Hanukkah, and Art

Thursday: Theme Thursday ~ Wear your favorite holiday shirt, sweater, or pjs, math re-look, WTW Test, Info Outcome Assessment, learn about Christmas in Germany,and Girl Scouts ***Coding Club has been cancelled***

Friday: Celebrate Keira's birthday and Mick and Eva's half-birthdays, timed multiplication test, PE, early recess/lunch, Winter Party, early dismissal at 2:30
