About Me
Welcome, All! My name is Mrs. Megan Maney, and I am the Art Teacher here at Chelsea Intermediate. A little about myself, I received my bachelor's in art education from Northern Illinois University and completed my master's this summer from The Art of Education University. I taught for three years in the DeKalb School District at the elementary and high school level before I took a leave to stay home with my children. My support team at home has my two amazing kids, Shane, who is 12, and Chloe, who is 10, my husband Steve, and our rescue dog Rocky. We moved back to the area 12 years ago, and I began working part-time before moving back into the classroom a couple of years ago. I am very excited to be a part of the Tiger Family and can't wait to share my love and passion of art with your student(s).
