hi kindergarteners it's Miss Jackson your brand new kindergarten teacher I wanted to send you a little video because I was thinking about my own kindergartener her name is Rosie and she started kindergarten on she was a little bit scared the night before but I kept telling her it's going to be fine you're going to have so much fun you're going to love your teacher going to learn so many new things and you are going to make new friends parents are telling you the same thing that's true it's going to be awesome and you get to be in mrs. Jackson's class so miss is Texas going to read you a story right now and this story is called the night before kindergarten when you read this a lot of things that happen in our kindergarten classroom as well so let's check it out you may have heard of similar book The Night Before Christmas before this one is all kindergarten the night before kindergarten by Natasha wing was a night before kindergarten and as they prepared the kids were excited but a little bit scared 8 ostomy turned about their beds while visions of school supplies danced in their heads Rosie said what is I mean couldn't stop thinking about school but even their dreams were about school erasers and crayons and pencils Galore were stuffed in their backpacks and step by outfits for hung in the closets with care knowing the kindergarten soon would be there these kids even got ready the night before so they could be ready in the morning it came school starts today with the teacher be nice but they still get to play faces are washed teeth or brush white kids posed for pictures with eyes sparkling bright parents pack snacks in kids hopped in cars as if they were boarding a spaceship to Mars no they're not really doing that I think the word Mars Just rhymed with that one some Kidz Bop blankets or their favorite stuff there and hopes they can nap like they didn't take care their parents explain your big kids now let's hold your beer in blankies for like you're not going to bring bears and blankies to school tomorrow but if you want to put for special things inside that bag you'll get to show the class the parents were worried their children would cry if they left them at school with just a goodbye so they told their Darlings if you want we can stay and make sure that everything is A-OK the teacher been greeted each one smile and invited the students to stay for awhile the room was all filled with toys books in math there are no bet that's okay you don't want to take a nap anyway I'm sure a colored and painted and played Simon sets and tumbled and Skip and still down there they sang silly songs from beginning to end with in just a minute each kid had a friend the children were happy they loved Miss Sunrise it was she who is in for a giant surprise when what you were wondering it would appear that said moms and dads were holding back tears their nose is still sniffly their eyes red and white this was the saddest goodbye red and wet food this is the saddest goodbye miss Sunrise had seen yet that's silly I wonder why all the parents are crying I'll tell you why all the parents are crying cuz they love you all so much and you're growing up in your house starting kindergarten the good thing is it's not a bad cry it's an exciting cry we are excited for you we are excited to see you grow she gathered the grown-ups on the magical rug and them away after one final hug the children all waved from the door at the school don't cry mom and dad your garden is cool your garden is cool and then I'm going to tell you goodbye and I will see you in the morning in front of the school so this is a song I like to sing every morning at morning meeting it is a fair easy to sing all about saying hello so I like to wait when I sing this song that goes like this hello hello hello and how are you I'm fine I'm fine and I hope that you are too mrs. Jackson sings all the time in the classroom so you're going to learn a lot of new songs this year do you want to try that one more time you're ready for school tomorrow okay it goes like this hello hello hello and how are you I'm fine I'm fine and I hope that you are too hey kindergartener I'll see you tomorrow morning in the front of the school where your paw print necklace bring your backpack bring your lunch bring a snack and please bring a water bug well if you're going to want something to drink in the classroom this is Jacksonville let you leave it right at your seat you can get a drink whenever you need to okay I hope you are as excited as I am going to have a great time together by friends tomorrow
