Mrs. Jeglinski
Dear Students and Parents, Welcome to 6th grade! I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you throughout the year. This is my 12th year in the district. I started as a math interventionist and then transitioned into classroom as a full-time sixth grade math teacher. I love teaching sixth graders and watching them grow as learners and individuals. I am also one of the Mathlete sponsors. I encourage students who have a love for math or who just want to be challenged and compete against other schools to consider joining our team.
A little bit about me: I absolutely love sports. College basketball is by far my favorite, but I am a die-hard Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan too! I also really enjoy watching my students compete in their sports and activities. Don't be surprised to see me in the stands, I try to go to as many as I can to support our school and students. When I'm not busy cheering on my favorite team, I'm spending time with my husband and two kids. We have spent many hours playing Yahtzee, Uno, and Rummikub. Very rarely will they beat me in Rummikub. Uno- however, is a different story.
Please reach out to me through Teams or email with any questions or concerns you may have. Together we can make this a successful year!
