Welcome to Hickory Creek Middle School - Home of the Tigers!
It is a true pleasure to welcome you to Hickory Creek Middle School. I am extremely proud of the dedicated staff and passionate families that we serve. The 2023-2024 school year will mark my 29th year in education and my 26th year at Hickory Creek. I have served as a social studies, ELA and technology teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and now as the principal of Hickory Creek. It is is my commitment to ensure that students and families have an exceptional experience during these most formative middle school years.
Our 2023-2024 Building Goals This Year Include:
Academics Goal:
- We will continue to provide rigor and opportunity for academic growth to all students in grades 6th - 8th.
Social/Emotional Goal:
- We will support staff and student social and emotional needs and enhance the opportunity for growth in relationships.
Communication Goal:
- We will increase opportunities for family engagement both during the school day and through extra-curricular activities.
Safety Goal:
- We will provide a safe learning environment for staff and students in grades 6th - 8th.
