Welcome to Physical Education and Health!

 

My name is Angela Troka, and this is my fourth-year teaching at Hickory Creek Middle School. I previously taught middle school PE/Health for 6 years in Oak Forest and Special Education in Crete for 1 year.  I have experience coaching baseball, basketball, soccer, intramurals, and track and field.

 

I am looking forward to being able to teach and coach in the district I graduated from when I was a student.  Hickory Creek had so much to offer when I was a student, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to do the same for my students and community.

 

In my spare time I enjoy going on bike rides, doing yoga, going to concerts or sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. At the end of 2024, I got married and gave birth to a baby girl, Luna.
