This week, we will continue module 4- Multiplication and Area. We will be forming rectangles by tiling arrays, drawing rows and columns in incomplete arrays to determine the area, interpreting area models to form rectangular arrays, and to find area by multiplication. We will be taking FastBridge Math on Tuesday (1/14) at 9:45. As a reminder, we have our 6s and 7s fact fluency check on Friday, January 17th.
We will continue our literature unit for quarter 2! Our focus skills this week are:
Theme: Think about how characters change throughout a story to help discover the message of the story!

We have our Literature Informational Outcome Assessment on Wednesday(1/15) and our FastBridge Reading assessment on Thursday (1/16) at 11:15.
We will continue our 2nd quarter unit. We will continue working on our informational text practice essay response.
We will continue our Frankfort Over Time unit. This week we will focus on both the Pottawatomi tribes of 1700-1840 and the adventures of fur traders, Marquette and Joliet, of the 1800s.
