The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (5 ILCS 140/4) provides for public access to public records. While Frankfort School District 157-C does not require the completion of a standard from to file a FOIA request, all requests must be in writing and can be hand delivered, mailed, faxed or emailed to the District’s FOIA Officers listed below. Please be clear and specific when describing the records you are requesting.
Pursuant to School Board Policy 2:250, Freedom of Information Act, the District will charge a copying fee for FOIA requests over 50 pages. The copying fee is reflective of the actual cost incurred by the district per copy including: toner, paper, and labor. The per copy fee for the 2017-18 school year is $.15/copy.
